Alive and Well Workshop
And remember, as Philippians 1:6 reminds us: “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” Let’s partner with God in renewing our minds—one thought at a time.

Faith based workshops
My name is Cordelia Thomas. In June 2025, I felt inspired by the Holy Spirit to start the Alive and Well Workshop—an online, nonprofit group for Christians who want to get to know God better.
Our main goal is to stay connected with Him. When we focus on our relationship with God, our worries tend to go away and our purpose becomes clearer. In today’s busy world, building a real, Spirit-guided relationship with God—more than just following rules—is more important than ever.
Simply memorizing rules or doing tasks doesn’t fully help us. We are called to walk with the Holy Spirit, listen to His guidance, and stay connected through prayer and reading the Bible. Even just seven minutes—or more—of focused time with God each day can make a big difference. Without this daily connection, our spiritual bond weakens, which can impact our happiness and well-being.
As Jesus said, “I am the Vine; remain in Me to bear fruit.” I encourage everyone to keep their relationship with God active and Spirit-led—avoiding stagnation and instead growing vibrantly.
These workshops are here to help you overcome spiritual struggles and grow your faith through simple daily habits including respectful conversations within our community to support each other’s growth.
Blessings,
Cordelia

Hey there!
Let’s talk about something truly amazing—The Art of Thinking About God! Inspired by Psalm 19:7-14
You know, everyone kind of thinks about meditation differently.
Some folks see it as a time to focus on themselves and grow. But for us as Christians, meditation is something even more special! It’s all about taking a peaceful moment to thoughtfully reflect on who God is, what He’s like, and how He’s right there with us every day. You might find yourself asking
– Who exactly is this awesome God?
– How is He helping me out day after day?
– What does the Bible tell me about Him?
– Has He been super faithful to me?
When we set aside time to think about God’s Word, really trying to feel closer to Him, we open our hearts for His Spirit to guide us. That helps us build a strong, solid faith. Sometimes, it even reveals parts of ourselves that might need a little fixing or forgiveness, helping us focus more on Jesus and what He did for us. And guess what? This whole process can make us feel happier and more at peace, both inside and out, by helping us see what we can improve.
So, this week, I’d love for you to find a quiet moment—whether you’re just sitting peacefully or taking a walk outside—and spend a little time thinking about God. Talk to Him, ask Him to speak to your heart. Giving Him that time can truly refresh your spirit and make you feel renewed!

Blessings!

Here are some simple questions to think about before you decide to join the Alive and Well Workshop and the Kingdom Connection Community. Please be honest with your answers below. These will help you and us see if this community is the right fit for you, both in your faith and in your life.
Preparation:
1. Bible: Keep it close by to read Scripture and hear God’s gentle voice.
2. Journal or Notebook: Jot down your thoughts, prayers, and progress along the way.
3. Quiet Space: Find a calm, distraction-free spot for those 7 minutes each day.
4. Open Heart: Invite the Holy Spirit to reveal areas that need healing and help you be honest with yourself.
5. Accountability: Feel free to share your experience with our group—you’ll find support and encouragement.
6. Consistency: It’s okay if you miss a day—just pick up where you left off. Setting daily reminders can help!
Two key terms to know for our “7 Minutes for Seven Days” Workshop
• The word “Amen” is a way of showing agreement, trust, and confidence. It means “so be it” or that it truly happens.
• The word “Be” is about growth, change, and simply exist-focusing on being present and continuing to grow.
